Geneba Tequila was founded in Chicago by IngridLaVon and named for her late mother, Geneva, whose image is built into the logo. Her husband, Lynn Woolfolk Jr., runs day-to-day operations as COO. One of the few tequilas created by an African American woman, Geneba is made in Jalisco from 100% Blue Weber agave with no additives, sugar, or gluten, and it is now available at select Binny's locations in Illinois.
